During the month of April, Exphar team in Guinea worked on raising awareness about the dry eye syndrome. It can be caused by dust, wind or sun. It is characterised by stinging, itching, redness of the eyes and the impression of having sand or a foreign body in the eyes.
The team therefore introduced CARBOSOL, a new Exphar sociality that has just been launched in Guinea.
The team organised an awareness day in Conakry. They encountered the ophthalmologists of the BARTIMEE eye clinic. They were able to advise several pharmacies, including the “Pharmacie Référence” in Bambeto, and to engage discussions on the subject with doctors in the region.
