Key Responsibilities

As National Sales & Execution Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and supervising regional sales teams across Nigeria.
  • Driving sales force effectiveness, field discipline, and performance accountability.
  • Monitoring sales performance, territory productivity, customer coverage, and call quality.
  • Coaching and developing Regional Supervisors, Medical Representatives, and Key Account Managers.
  • Ensuring effective implementation of marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional initiatives.
  • Managing commercial KPIs, dashboards, and performance improvement plans.
  • Conducting regular field visits and joint work sessions with sales teams.
  • Providing management with clear visibility on field realities, execution gaps, and growth opportunities.
  • Collaborating closely with Country Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Regulatory teams to ensure commercial alignment.
  • Supporting the continuous development of a high-performing and execution-driven sales organization.

Candidate Profile

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8 to 12 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
  • At least 4 to 5 years of experience managing regional or national sales teams.
  • Strong expertise in field force management, KPI monitoring, and performance management.
  • Proven experience coaching, motivating, and developing commercial teams.
  • A solid understanding of the Nigerian pharmaceutical market.
  • Experience in chronic care, hospital sales, ophthalmology, or key account management is considered an asset.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
